Corundum sandblast
Mainly used for heavy metal items. This operation prepares the base of the rough item for the further workings of phosphating and chemical nickelling.

Glass shot blasting
Mainly used for aluminium items, like pieces already finished mechanically, where glass shot blasting is just aesthetic. In other cases this is a base treatment for the next anodizing.
